Retail District Manager – Cannabis – The Green Organic Dutchman

As a Retail District Manager, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by leading a team of field sales representatives in the cannabis sector on of our client, The Green Organic Dutchman. You are a proven sales leader with a keen interest in the Cannabis sector. Utilizing your proven communication skills coupled with your analytical abilities, you will manage all aspects of your team including hiring, training, go to market strategy and overall performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial spirited individual who is laser focused on results. The ideal candidate resides in the Greater Vancouver Area.
Responsibilities
- Lead your team to achieve above target regional results including sales, distribution growth, innovation speed to market & adhoc sales initiatives
- Actively manage all sales projects to above target outcome by reviewing results daily, create and coach to the “playbook”, move quickly and adjust accordingly
- Western Region Staff Management
- Staffing & onboarding
- Develop and host regional training meetings
- Administer day to day leadership via phone, MS Teams and in field work withs
- Performance management
- Manage time and expense budget
- Vet call report and program compliance
- Escalate HR related matters to leadership for guidance
- Collaborate with our client providing timely service inquiry resolutions and industry insights
- In-field coaching up to 40% of the time
- Overnight travel within BC, AB, SK & MB
- Ideal candidate has prior field sales leadership experience in grocery, mass, pharma, liquor or cannabis Takes ownership for results
- Motivational communicator
- Strong coaching and development of team. (Both locally and remotely)
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced atmosphere
- Strong organization skills
- Intermediate tech skills (Excel, PPT & MS Teams)
- Experience staffing/deploying resources
- Preferred candidate resides in Greater Vancouver Area
- Meets all legislative requirements to travel by air within Canada
- Ability to bend and lift up to 25 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
