VP, Strategic Marketing – Direct-to-Consumer Marketing Solutions Provider

Position Overview: As a Strategic Marketing Senior Executive supporting a Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Marketing Solutions Provider, you will be instrumental in driving the company’s growth and success. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to expand the company’s market presence, establish strong internal and external partnerships, and achieve revenue targets. Your deep understanding of the D2C landscape and expertise in marketing solutions will enable you to identify and capitalize on business opportunities, while aligning sales strategies with the company’s overall objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop Business Development Strategies:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape within the D2C market.
  • Define and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to maximize sales and revenue generation.
  • Identify new business opportunities, target industries, and strategic partnerships to expand the company’s market reach.

2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the D2C sector.
  • Understand client needs, pain points, and objectives to develop customized marketing solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver tailored D2C marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand growth.

3. Growth and Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective growth strategy to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
  • Create sales forecasts, monitor performance metrics, and provide regular reports to the management team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

4. Solution Development and Positioning:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in D2C marketing solutions.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to enhance existing solutions and develop new offerings aligned with market demand.
  • Position the company’s D2C marketing solutions effectively, highlighting unique selling propositions and value propositions to differentiate from competitors.

5. Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the business development and sales teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales strategies with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Support and participate in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven history of success in setting up and driving business growth strategy, specifically within the D2C marketing solutions industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the D2C landscape, including digital marketing strategies, customer acquisition, data analytics, and conversion optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify market opportunities, analyze sales data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a team, foster collaboration, and drive results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales tracking tools such as SFDC, and Microsoft Office Suite.
