• Plan, coordinate, and supervise events including private functions, cooking classes, wine tastings, and corporate bookings.
• Liaise with chefs, instructors, and sommeliers to organise masterclasses and promotional events.
• Manage event bookings, customer inquiries, floor plans, run sheets, and event-specific staffing needs.
• Supervise restaurant and function room operations including setup, service flow, and post-event pack-down.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations.
• Maintain high standards of hospitality, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout events and general dining operations.
• Coordinate with marketing team to promote upcoming classes, seasonal events, and venue hire.
• Manage budgets, supplier relations, and inventory for events and classes.
• Provide leadership to front-of-house staff including rosters, training, and performance oversight.
• Prepare event reports, feedback summaries, and continuous improvement plans.

Qualifications/Attributes:

• Must hold a Diploma of Hospitality Management or higher or 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of required qualification.
• Must possess at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, especially Italian cuisine and wine.
