  • The Co-op term is from September, 2025 to March, 2026.
  • Full time requirement (40 hours per week).

Purpose:This role will support our US Surgery business within our Hospital Medical Technology sector in Planning.You will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for accurately and timely collecting, analyzing, consolidating, and reporting relevant data for the planning team.
  • Build and develop new tools and systems to improve the efficiency of the existing planning processes.
  • Responsible for preparing reports, dashboards, decks and publishing data in an accurate and timely manner. Opportunities provided for process improvement and automation.
  • Document processes to ensure effective training and knowledge transfer.
  • Connect and network with the internal and external teams daily.
  • May support a planning segment within the business, collaborating with marketing and finance counterparts to make recommended adjustments to the demand forecast as needed.
  • Improve forecast accuracy by analyzing sources of forecast error and recommending appropriate action plans.
  • Research new ways to achieve improved statistical forecasting performance.
  • Communicate business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Know and follow policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility.
  • Complete training in areas of responsibility within allowed time-period.
  • Follows all safety policies & other safety precautions within work area. Promote safety to all associates that enter work area.
  • Follow all guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
  • For ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at accredited University is required.
  • Be enrolled into a bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Materials Management or bachelor’s in sciences with Major in Engineering (preferable).
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills, project, creative capacity & technical skills.
  • Able to take direction well, set priorities and achieve results.
  • Validated ability to quickly learn and apply complex applications.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, and strong social abilities.
  • Business maturity and ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Understanding of basic business concepts in assigned area.
  • Customer focused business judgment.
  • Able to identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes and take initiative.
  • Solid understanding of general office protocols, procedures & equipment – PC, copier, fax.
  • Math, including Algebra and statistics (preferred).
  • Applied principles of research, concept generation, presentation, synthesis.
  • Ability to apply project and personal leadership to successfully achieve project, team and individual goals.
  • Ability to share knowledge and personal experience with peers. Mentor others when appropriate.
  • Ability to build strong reciprocal relationships, considering nuanced perspectives and styles.
  • Ability to target their communications as appropriate for the audience and make presentations to a small to medium-sized audience.
  • Has knowledge of statistics, machine learning, data mining and production analytics.
  • Proficient in MS office programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Planning, E-mail, Flow Charts and management of database tools.
  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
