Job description: Our HR Department is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to join our headquarters in Baar, Switzerland. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping and implementing our Training & Development initiatives, while also providing the opportunity to contribute your own knowledge and innovative ideas as the position evolves. You will balance forward-looking strategy with practical implementation, serving as a trusted partner to both business and HR colleagues. If you are a motivated HR professional ready to make an impact in a dynamic, collaborative, and diverse environment, we would like to hear from you.Key responsibilitiesTraining needs analysis and planningDesign and implement learning initiatives and programmes that align with business priorities and employee development needs.Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify critical skill gaps and provide targeted, results-driven solutions.Collaborate closely with other Group Learning experts (e.g. Training Design, Training Systems, etc) to ensure consistency, alignment, and best practice sharing.Partner with HR Business Partners to advance the organization’s learning agenda and embed a culture of continuous development that supports long-term business growth.Promote innovation in learning by introducing modern approaches and technologies (e.g., micro-learning, blended solutions, curated learning playlists) to enhance effectiveness and engagement.Delivery & employee supportLead engaging onboarding and induction programmes that set new joiners up for success.Act as an approachable, on-site contact for employees with any training-related questions or support needs.Manage training logistics end-to-end, including scheduling, liaising with providers, booking venues, and coordinating participants.Source and manage external training providers, co-design training courses, and oversee smooth delivery.Digital learning & platformsTake a targeted approach to the Learning Management System (LMS): enhance functionality, raise awareness, increase participation, and ensure a seamless learner experience.Manage and curate digital learning content on Cornerstone, creating structured curricula, playlists, and bite-size learning paths.Work with the LMS team to align local initiatives with system-wide developments and optimize platform capabilities.Promote and monitor digital learning engagement, ensuring adoption across the organisation.Measurement & communicationDevelop metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness and ROI of learning initiatives.Collaborate with internal communications to raise visibility of T&D opportunities and enhance the learning culture.What we’re looking for5+ years of experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, Education, Human Resources, or related fields.Bachelor’s degree in business, Humanities, or a related discipline.High level of English proficiency; additional skills in German are beneficial.Demonstrated experience of conducting training needs analyses and delivering learning in hybrid environments.Experience with Cornerstone (or similar LMS) including content management, reporting, and optimization.Experience developing and facilitating engaging training modules, toolkits, and resources.Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and act as an approachable learning partner to employees and leaders alike.Innovative mindset with motivation to explore new learning formats and technologies.Analytical skills to use data and insights to evaluate learning outcomes and shape future initiatives.Eligibility to work in Switzerland (Swiss work permit or CH/EU passport).BenefitsWe are committed to providing benefits, which promote mental, physical, and financial well-being.
