Job Detail

Due to our continuing growth, we are now looking for an enthusiastic and target driven Telesales Executive to join our existing team, making calls to existing business customers and turn into sales or appointments.

This is a targeted environment and you will be expected to achieve weekly and monthly revenue targets by cross and up-selling on a number of campaigns wherever appropriate.

You will be responsible for growing revenues through engagement with our existing customers via inbound or outbound calls, following up leads and referrals, as well as contributing towards the success of the sales department by evolving telesales as a function, proactively looking for ways to improve the quality of appointments made.

Key Responsibilities

  • To achieve monthly revenue targets and KPI’s where appropriate, using excellent cross/up-selling skills
  • Profiling the existing customer to identify upsell and cross opportunity through effective questioning
  • Work with the Team Manager to devise and implement a strategy for telesales function, helping drive continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with Sales consultants and contribute to wider goals of the Sales team
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Zen’s products, services and organisational strategies
  • Ensure best practice in your approach to promoting the business and selling the appropriate product/service based on customer requirements
  • Interact with key business partners to ensure the best possible service for the customer.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record making and/or meeting/exceeding revenue based sales targets preferably in an IT / ISP / Telecoms environment or be able to demonstrate key attributes of a sales executive
  • Able to identify and influence key decision makers where appropriate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Confident, assertive and professional
  • Ability to analyse customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Technically adept – able to quickly learn and understand new products
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Appears confident; assertive but not aggressive in all internal / external dealings
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Desire to develop a career in sales
  • Demonstration of interest in internet technologies
