From product discovery to checkout completion, you’ll ensure our technical foundation supports millions of crafters in buying their perfect yarn match. Think of yourself as the master pattern designer for our technical architecture! 📐The Road AheadLead and mentor a team of 4-6 engineers working on our core shopping experienceDrive technical strategy for our recently migrated Shopify Plus platformPartner with product and design to improve conversion rates, customer satisfaction and loyaltyEnsure scalable, performant, and secure purchase flows across web and mobileChampion engineering best practices, code quality, and continuous improvementBridge the gap between technical complexity and business impactCoach engineers to grow their skills and their impactDrive experimentation and measurement to learn fastYour Mastery6+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in technical leadershipDeep expertise in e-commerce platformsBackground in modern web technologies (React, Node.js, TypeScript, etc.) & LaravelExperience with service architecture, APIs, and third-party integrationsKnowledge of payment systems, inventory management, and order processingProven ability to lead, coach, and grow engineering talentDemonstrated ability to analyse complex problems and develop effective solutions quickly and creatively.Ability to remain calm under pressure, prioritise tasks effectively, and make confident technical decisions accordinglyProduct mindset.
