Summary Of The Position

Workland is proud to present a great career opportunity with one of its clients located in the Montreal area, currently looking to fill several summer job positions with talented students in the field of marketing. Our client is currently seeking highly motivated students who want to have the opportunity to learn and develop their skills in this field.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities Will Be

• Assist in the organization of internal and external events and meetings;
• Review and monitor the budget;
• Assist in the planning and coordination of promotional plans;
• Assist in the management of sales tools, from approval to renewal, as well as the integration of our client’s new brand image;
• Support ad hoc projects of the Oncology Marketing team;
• Provide the department with a weekly sales report;
• Experience working with Excel;
• Experience working with Excel;
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications For This Position Are

• Participate in a university programme in an appropriate discipline (marketing or other relevant field);
• Ability to work independently with little supervision;
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, teamwork and time management skills are essential;
• Ability to learn and apply new information quickly;
• Experience working with Excel/PowerPoint;
• Initiative and a highly motivated individual who can multitask, prioritize and respond to changing work activities under tight deadlines;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, positive attitude and collaborative work style;
• Ability to conduct research and data analysis;
• Knowledge of social media;
• Results-oriented attitude;
• Experience with various survey tools;
• Excellent communication skills (spoken and written);
• Language skills: Bilingualism required (French and English).

Special Requirements For This Position

• Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least one year of university by May 2023;
• Be enrolled in a full-time program for the upcoming year (September 2023);
• Legally entitled to work in Canada;
• Able to work from the company’s headquarters located in the West Island of Montreal;
• Must have received double vaccination.

This position will be performed in-person with the possibility of occasional remote work, pending Government measures.
