Overall Purpose of the Job:
The Faculty of Humanities at Manchester is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for two innovative and driven marketing and recruitment professionals to join our team as Marketing and Recruitment Coordinators.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the implementation of the Humanities’ student marketing and recruitment strategy to achieve ambitious student recruitment and international targets.
These roles will work closely with each School in the Faculty, Central Student Marketing and Recruitment Teams, International Office, Applications and Admissions, and Teaching and Learning colleagues to ensure recruitment and diversification targets are met.
Reporting to the Faculty Marketing and Recruitment Officer they will play a key role in the Faculty of Humanities Student Marketing and Recruitment Team. They will work alongside the Team’s other Marketing Coordinators across various school and faculty projects.
About You
As a marketing and recruitment professional with a track record of delivering integrated campaigns.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of measurable student recruitment and marketing plans, events, projects and initiatives supporting the delivery of the Faculty’s student recruitment targets.
You will work closely with academic colleagues across the Faculty, Schools and Central Team, so the ability to develop and manage positive working relationships is essential.
You will support the delivery of marketing and recruitment activity in order to drive the recruitment of high quality students.
You will have experience in nurturing high quality leads from an internationally diverse audience.
Ideally you will have experience in delivering a mix of marketing & recruitment activity across a number of channels (social, digital marketing, email marketing, offline promotions).
An innovative outlook is important, as is a strong commitment to professional and team development.
Working with the Marketing and Recruitment Officers you will work on delivering personas, value propositions and defining USPs for existing & new products.
You will develop an excellent working relationship with colleagues across Professional Services, ensuring a one university approach to everything we do.
Working to support activities such as Open Days, you will be expected to also support recruitment activity both here in UK and overseas to offer advice and information to potential applicants and their key influencers.
You may be required to travel overseas in accordance with business needs.
Ideally you will have experience of HE marketing and recruitment activity both home and internationally.
