We’re looking for a creative, driven, and experienced marketing manager to join our Partner Marketing team. Our mission is to create an exceptional partner experience, providing partners with the right engagement and marketing resources to help them start, run, and scale their business with Avalara.
As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will design and execute strategic marketing and program management initiatives that enhance how we engage with and support our partners. You’ll operate at both a strategic level (setting the vision) and a tactical level (developing, managing, and launching key initiatives and programs). As part of the partner experience team, you’ll play a critical role in elevating Avalara’s partnerships to the next level.
Quais serão as suas responsabilidades
What you’ll do:
- Lead the strategy and execution to expand the digital partner experience on Avalara.com and the Partner Portal, ensuring a seamless, engaging journey between ungated and gated experiences.
- Develop and oversee the creation of foundational program assets, including:
- Pitch decks for partner recruitment and enablement.
- Program guides outlining benefits, tiers, and engagement opportunities.
- Program spotlights highlighting partner success stories and achievements.
- Own the development of new partner experiences and initiatives, including:
- Launching the partner directory to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Introducing partner awards to recognize top-performing partners.
- Designing a content hub to centralize resources and insights.
- Improving navigation and usability across digital partner touchpoints.
- Create and optimize marketing assets for program-related initiatives, such as sales incentives, partner enablement programs, and certifications.
- Implement and track performance metrics for digital experiences, continuously optimizing engagement and effectiveness.
Who you’ll work with:
- Partner Marketing & Partner Management Teams – Collaborate to design and execute the strategy that effectively showcases the end-to-end Avalara Partner Program.
- Digital Experience, Brand, and Content Marketing Teams – Work closely to bring the Avalara Partner Marketing vision to life, ensuring a compelling and cohesive experience.
O que precisa possuir para ser bem sucedido
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant marketing and program management experience in a high growth SaaS or technology company.
- Startup mentality with a bias for action.
- Executive presence with strong presentation and communication skills.
- Superb organization and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Growth mindset with a desire to learn, a tendency to embrace challenges, see failures as essential to mastery, and find lessons and inspiration in the success of others.
