Sr. Director of Marketing (Field Marketing & Creative Services)

Summary 

The remote(USA) Senior Director of Marketing (Field Marketing & Creative Services) role requires a strategic and highly collaborative professional who effectively partners with both field and clinical stakeholders, including the CMO, COO, regional operations leaders, clinical leaders, sales teams, and local operators, to drive revenue growth. This role requires a broad skill set across various marketing disciplines, such as product marketing, retail point-of-sale, direct mail, out-of-home (OOH) advertising, digital communications, and media strategy. This person will also oversee the Creative Services function, helping direct the development of creative and campaign assets.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions 

  • Partner with physicians and operational leaders to design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and field enablement tools aimed at driving growth in both general dermatology and medical aesthetics. This role requires direct oversight in several key areas, including:
  • Medical Aesthetic Pilots: Lead the development and marketing strategy of pilot programs for medical aesthetics, ensuring their success and alignment with organizational growth targets
  • Driving Medical Aesthetic Adoption Rates: Implement strategies to increase adoption and integration of medical aesthetic services across clinic locations, fostering consistent growth.
  • Marketing Strategies for General Dermatology: Create and execute targeted marketing strategies aimed at achieving utilization targets in general dermatology clinics with available capacity, maximizing clinic output.
  • De Novo Launch Marketing & Acquisition Integration: Oversee the development of marketing initiatives for new clinic launches and successful integration of acquisition targets to build brand presence and drive patient acquisition.
  • Local Marketing Planning: Develop and execute local marketing campaigns, including direct mail, out-of-home (OOH) advertising, and media strategies, to increase clinic visibility and engagement within regional markets.
  • Clinic & Call Center Enablement Tools: Design and implement effective tools and resources to empower clinic staff and call centers, improving both operational efficiency and customer service.
  • In-Center Awareness and Conversion Strategies: Develop point-of-service (POS) marketing materials and strategies aimed at raising awareness within the clinic and encouraging existing clients to explore medical aesthetic treatment offerings.
  • In-Center Upsell/Cross-Sell Strategies: Create and execute strategies to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the clinic, enhancing revenue streams and customer satisfaction.
  • Field Enablement Tools: Develop training and support materials for field teams to improve clinic performance, sales, and customer experience.
  • Physician & M&A Marketing: Support marketing initiatives related to physician engagement, including retreats, American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) conferences, and patient education programs. Support merger and acquisition (M&A) efforts through tailored marketing strategies to enhance physician relationships and patient acquisition.
  • Call Center Enablement & Support: Provide marketing and operational support to call centers, ensuring they have the necessary tools and strategies to convert inbound leads into appointments and drive customer retention.
  • Creative Services: Lead the creative direction for marketing and field enablement initiatives, working closely with design teams to produce high-quality materials and campaigns that resonate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 12+ years progressive marketing experience required
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience with multi-location, nationwide organizations preferred

Physical Demands 

  • Ability to communicate in an active multi-office environment.
  • Ability to efficiently operate all job related office equipment (telephone, computer, calculator, fax, copier).
  • Ability to communicate via telephone.
  • Ability to sit for large portions of a workday.
  • Ability to travel (approx. 20% or 2-4 days/month on average)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Marketing Strategies: Expertise in multi-channel marketing (retail, direct mail, OOH, digital) and performance analytics.
  • Healthcare Marketing: Understanding of healthcare regulations, patient privacy, and multi-location care marketing.
  • Field & Clinical Operations: Familiarity with the intersection of marketing and operations and managing marketing within a “house of brands” structure.
  • Branding & Creative: Knowledge of brand consistency and creative strategy development.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Skilled at developing and executing growth-driven marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including C-suite, regional leaders, and clinical teams.
  • Relationship Building & Influence: Ability to build strong internal relationships and influence stakeholders to drive initiatives.
  • Product Marketing: Ability to become a subject matter expert in our product lines, including general dermatology treatments and medical aesthetic offerings.
  • Project Management: Proficient in managing multiple campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Digital & Media Strategy: Expertise in digital tactics, media planning, and paid media campaigns.
  • Adaptability & Problem Solving: Quick to adapt in dynamic environments and resolve complex marketing challenges.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Strong analytical skills to measure, report, and optimize marketing effectiveness.
  • Creative Thinking & Innovation: Ability to develop innovative strategies and tailored messaging that drives customer engagement and growth.
  • Communication & Presentation: Excellent communication skills to present strategies, results, and insights clearly to all levels of the organization.’ Data Analysis & Reporting: Strong analytical skills to measure, report, and optimize marketing effectiveness.
