Sr Digital Marketing Mgr-MYS

Position Summary:

The Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, ASIA – will focus on developing and managing digital marketing and media strategies for all Monster Energy Company brands across all Asian markets to ensure that the Monster Energy brand culture is supported and actively represented in online, in the world of all things Monster Energy.

The role will report into the Media & Digital Director International, supervising the local ASIA Digital Marketing teams directly managing four reports and a total team of about 6 people. Mentoring and developing the team with a clear focus on measuring, learning and reapplying plans across more than 20 countries: Japan, India, Korea, Turkey, Vietnam, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, etc.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage a team of 5 Digital Managers across APAC and guide their development of media strategies and plans that help deliver against Marketing goals and objectives.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the Monster brands and the overall business; Work with Regional Marketing Directors and Digital Managers to ensure marketing goals and direction are
  • reflected digitally for each brand.
  • Guide Digital Managers in the development of communication plans that identify digital strategies, objectives and KPIs; Strong understanding of digital media, including social media, programmatic, and influencer marketing. Basic
  • knowledge of traditional media.
  • Manages ASIA Digital Marketing team but also works with key business stakeholders: regional marketing teams, global digital team, regional commercial teams and bottling partners when necessary; Develop and manage strategies and programs for ASIA digital marketing efforts.
  • Owns and manages media budget and leverages all potential synergies in the media planning and negotiation within ASIA tied to business plans, brand objectives and key cultural insights.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing and media strategies and campaigns, integrating both online and offline marketing efforts.
  • Provide thought leadership and innovation for expanding Monster’s brand online, creatively and uniquely based upon local market trends in marketing, media and technology.
  • Stays abreast of key developments and regional differences in media (e.g., population, demographic, lifestyle, media usage changes). Leverages marketing data and consumer insights to develop media strategies; Lead, manage, partner and negotiate with external stakeholders: media, social media companies and agencies.

Essential Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • 7 years or more experience in marketing with a beverage, CPG lifestyle brand
  • 7 years or more experience in Digital Marketing Communications and Public Relations
  • Advance user of Microsoft Office, Project Management Software is a plus (Air table/Click up).
  • Strong understanding of digital media, including social media, programmatic, and influencer marketing. Basic knowledge of traditional media
  • Fluent in English. Experience with lifestyle marketing, digital media, sponsorships, event marketing and influencers, deep understanding of social platforms and latest content style/trends.
