Solta is recruiting for an accomplished, consistent and driven high performer with proven marketing skills to lead its global strategic marketing organization.

The Vice President will be responsible for establishing a high caliber global product management team to work with cross functional teams in establishing product and market strategy. This team will be responsible for driving and executing innovation strategy as they work in tandem with the R&D team to drive new product developments, identifying, and executing key marketing levers, working with regional and country level marketing for product launches, and life cycle management. In addition, VP of Global Strategic Marketing will be responsible for bringing consistency to Solta and its product brands across the world. The VP of global Marketing will also have dotted line responsibilities for all regional marketing team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish a global strategic marketing function, focused on upstream product management team to ultimately drive robust innovation pipeline and product launches grounded in customer needs
  • Develop and sustain a high performing organization through recruitment of high potential management talent, coaching and mentoring of managers
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan that aligns with the company’s business objectives, identifying new market opportunities and establishing market entry strategies
  • Lead global brand management: Strengthen and elevate our brand positioning by establishing a compelling brand identity, messaging, and consistent communication across all channels;
  • Oversee global and connect with all key markets and their marketing leads to ensure consistency in marketing and execution

Qualifications:

  • Deep expertise and success in defining and executing upstream and downstream marketing strategies
  • Thorough understanding of healthcare market insights and experience in aligning market segmentation, target market sizing with product validation stages and go to market strategies
  • Expertise in managing the marketing function, product NPD stages
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that have driven revenue growth and market expansion
  • Experience leading and managing high-performing marketing teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities, capable of using data to inform marketing decisions and measure performance
  • Strong understanding of the medical device market, including key trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years within the medical device industry with at least 5 years of marketing leadership experience.
  • Experience leading and managing high-performing marketing teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
