ABOUT THE ROLE
If you revel in storytelling with words, photos and videos on social media, then we want you to show us what you got. The Social Media Specialists is someone who can create engaging, performance-based content on social media, blogs and other digital platforms. The successful candidate will be creative and resourceful and have the skills to execute ideas. The Social Media Specialists will create compelling storytelling visual and written digital content based on data insights, background research, and a thorough understanding of client needs and objectives. This role will report to the Project Manager and work alongside our Graphic Designers and Marketing Coordinators.

- Perfect grammar. We expect the work submitted to us to be a finished product. Your manager will review for strategic alignment for content and deliverables.
- A proven track record of creating content that sticks. Show us the numbers and tell us how you created engaging content. We’re a results-driven company so let’s make sure you’re just as competitive as we are.
- Storytelling. If we asked you to come up with a story in a minute, how would you do? In the age of digital content creation, you’ve got to recognize a content opportunity in the moment before it passes. Think on your feet.
RESPONSIBILITIES
There are 3 key performance indicators to this role: Content Planning, Content Creation and Community Management.
Content Planning
- Prepare an organized monthly content calendar for each Client account that reflects your understanding of the client’s strategy and business objectives.
- Storyboard digital content for short videos and static posts based on defined KPIs.
- Analyze performance statistics on a weekly and monthly basis so you can recommend what’s working and what’s not to refine our client content strategies.
- Monthly report with performance indicators and your recommendations for each Client.
Content Creation
- Storyboard and film short videos for digital and social media channels both for our owned brands and client accounts. Channels include but are not limited to TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Copywriting for social media content with content and hashtags tailored for each platform.
- Long-form content creation for blogs and articles on websites and LinkedIn.
- Sourcing user generated content online for reposting/sharing.
- Maintaining all client and team assets in an organized manner.
- Plan and create engaging social and digital content to achieve client marketing goals.
Community Management and Engagement
- Setting and achieving community engagement and growth goals for each Client account.
- Drive engagement and followers by proactively working with the social media community.
- Monitor Client social accounts on a daily-basis and report issues to your manager.
