About the Role:

You’re a skilled writer and social media power user who knows how to create engaging posts and when to post, to maximize impressions, clicks, shares and follows – especially on LinkedIn. You’re comfortable using digital tools to create and edit images and videos that capture audience attention. You’re interested in and savvy about digital engagement metrics and other aspects of marketing and PR and excited to learn through doing key corporate marketing tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

Working with our marketing, design, sales, content and people professionals, you’ll enhance your skills in this entry-level role – providing first-hand experiences with marketing best practices. You will support the EVP, Content and Communications and the VP, Marketing with the following specific tasks:

  • Establishing a weekly routine for researching EnsembleIQ editorial and sponsored content offerings, people news and announcements, job postings and other compelling information to schedule social media posts throughout the week

  • Leveraging self-serve training modules to learn how to use our Hootsuite tool and social media platforms to create and schedule at minimum two engaging posts per day to EnsembleIQ corporate LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook accounts, as well as through those accounts, follow and tag influential individuals and companies to drive engagement

  • Learning how to use video and image creation tools such as InVideo and Canva to create videos and images and incorporate them in the post to increase engagement, clicks, shares and follows

  • Developing connections with key EnsembleIQ leaders and routines to, when necessary, seek and obtain their assistance with developing posts and approval for posting more-sensitive items, most especially those involving sponsored contents

  • Reviewing engagement metrics in Hootsuite and on each social platform to inform optimizing content and posting times to maximize results and to compile and share reports illustrating progress, successes, and issues to be addressed

  • At times providing support with EnsembleIQ corporate public relations efforts, gathering materials and drafting copy for news announcements and updates to the corporate website – using Google Workspace and WordPress

  • Performing additional marketing tasks to be identified and as needed specifically in support of the VP, Marketing.

  • Take ownership of the EnsembleIQ Hootsuite social media posting system, including management of keeping brand social pages across the company connected to the system

  • Current enrollment in, or recent graduate of, an undergraduate program in a related field including social media relations, marketing, or public relations

  • Experience managing/leading social media and/or community building efforts

  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) and social media management tools and/or experience growing a personal or business social media channel.

  • Familiarity with social media trends and best practices

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent organizational skills and initiative

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
