  • Remuneration: $106k + 12% super + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Let’s make a meaningful difference, together!Your part in our UnitingCare teamWe are looking for a Service Leader to manage our Farmer to Farmer Support Program and Suicide Bereavement Groups. The role is hybrid and gives the flexibility to work in office and/or from home. As this is a State-wide position it may require travel at varying times to attend relevant events.In this role you will:

  • Leading and managing all aspects of the Farmer Support and Suicide Bereavement Support Group Programs.
  • Provide professional leadership to both teams through participative supervision, professional development and performance management with service excellence for our clients as a continued priority.
  • Positively represent the activities of UnitingCare Family and Disability Services and assist in the development and maintenance of sound working relationships with relevant statutory, government and community agencies to facilitate positive outcomes for clients.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the Service’s budget and Business Information Systems and provide accurate and timely internal and external reports on key indicators as required for the service.
  • Provide oversight for, contribute to and maintain accurate and quality record keeping utilising UC record management systems in line with policy and procedures.
  • Coordinate recruitment, training and rostering activities as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the UC Communications and Marketing team to develop relevant program promotional material for education and awareness purposes.
  • Develop service delivery strategies in consultation with management to improve overall service awareness and satisfaction.

We will provide the successful candidate any necessary training upon commencement.What makes a difference for us?

  • Tertiary qualification and/or experience in working within the Mental Health field or another relevant pathway.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, encompassing operational, administrative, and budgetary oversight.
  • Qld Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card)
  • Current Drivers Licence

Desirable

  • Training in Suicide Intervention and/or prevention
  • Completed training in Psychological First Aid (PFA) Framework (available via internal training platform on commencement)
  • Completion of Lifeline Telephone Counselling Course (this can be completed in initial stages of success within the role) and/or relevant Case Management experience.
  • A background and/or links to the local farming community
