Job description: Calling all experts in Thermal Insulation Coatings!Are you ready to achieve your full potential?Hempel R&D is looking for a Senior Subject Matter Expert on Thermal Insulation Coatings who will be responsible for delivering fast and reliable customer-oriented technical support throughout our global Hempel organization.The role will focus on supporting our sales and technical teams and leading development of technical knowledge. This involves working closely with our R&D team and Product Management on key product development projects.What can you look forward to in this role?Providing the technical expertise to win projects and successfully deliver on them.Driving our mission to achieve vital certifications.Leading development & sharing of technical knowledge, both across Hempel and external coatings industry.Helping to enable rapid resolution of global claims, challenges and documentation of lessons learned.What does success look like?Advising and supporting the organizations (e.g. Technical Service, Sales and Marketing)Supporting R&D and Product Management on TIC testingTaking ownership of our specifications and technical dataCreating / improving our product documentation materialParticipating in Industry & Standards committeesProducing white papers, attending and presenting at key conferences/webinars.Responsible for product performance guarantee contractsProviding technical training to relevant colleagues within HempelSupporting customer satisfactionWhat do we look for in you?University degree in Polymers, Chemistry, Engineering or similar scientific fieldsMinium 5 years experience with TICSome CUI coatings experience is a plusAbility to work as part of a dynamic teamExcellent English proficiency, written and verbalComputer skills (preferred): Microsoft Office including Word, Excel (advanced), Power Point, TeamsAre you our next Senior Subject Matter Expert?If you have strong costumer service skills and enjoy giving support through disciplined and reliable planning and execution, you’re just right for us!
