Senior Product Marketing Manager – Cross-platform GTM Lead for Oracle Digital (OD)

The Oracle Cloud Platform (PaaS/IaaS) product marketing team
is looking for a Senior Product
Marketing Manager to help lead content development and go-to-market
planning across multiple field, business development, and product marketing
teams. You will be responsible for working closely with regional business
development stakeholders and product marketing teams to drive consistency on
cloud messaging across all sales plays.
As a Cross-Platform GTM Lead for Oracle
Digital (OD) you will be
responsible for the following:
- Leading the
development of Cloud GTM marketing for Cloud Platform – especially focusing on cross-platform
(PaaS/IaaS) solutions that can be packaged for Oracle Digital sellers. - Manage marketing
activities that relate to specialized field sellers in multiple regions for
inbound and outbound programs. - Implement and monitor
field sales plays, sales play tracking, - Develop content which
identifies customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor the market
trends/competitive landscape. - Initiate and foster
relationships with sales, field leaders, business development groups – at the
same time be able to work collaboratively with multiple regions. - Define and create compete content BOM including
use cases, detailed personas, key themes, customer lifecycle messaging,
differentiated value propositions and ROI, field communications and sales
enablement readiness in partnership with other product marketing managers,
product management and field sales teams. - Ensure
the overall enablement efforts are having positive impact on productivity by
measuring key KPIs with field stakeholders.
- Field,
sales experience; enablement programs or field support - Excellent
verbal and written skills – PPT skills are a must - Experienced
in leading go-to-market for enterprise software and emerging styles of GTM for
Cloud-based packaged business solutions. - Understanding
of how to approach SMB based marketing - Experience
with or knowledge of Oracle’s Cloud offerings. - Understanding
of Cloud PaaS and/or IaaS technologies related to one or multiple areas such as
Analytics, Database, Application Development, Security, and Integration
Middleware. - The
ability to work across teams (engineering, marketing, sales and services) to
ensure we create and promote the right competitive messages through the right
vehicles - Demonstrated
bias for action and driving results - At
least 3 to 5 years’ experience in roles such as marketing or sales, evangelism,
program management, etc. within the hi-tech industry
- B.A./B.S
in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred), Marketing or related field - Preferably,
an M.B.A (or equivalent in related work experience)
Travel
Component: Approx. 20%
travel within the United States and Canada may be required to successfully fill
this role.
Position
Location: Onsite at Oracle HQ in Redwood Shores, CA (San Francisco Bay Area).
Open to considering US-based
candidates who are willing to relocate to SF Bay Area for this role.

Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Ability to work with Executives. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic. Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. Basic HTML and web technology skills a plus. 8 years technology/industry experience and BA/BS/MBA degree.
