We offer market-leading products and services, supported by some of the world’s best systems and processes.The Everyday Products Crew is responsible for the manufacturing and profitable growth of Retail Transaction Accounts, Retail Spend, and Retail FX. We focus on building innovative and value-creating everyday products for all Australians. Our role is to drive the sustainable growth of our everyday transaction account products by delivering products our customers love, so they want to do all their banking with us.Do work that mattersAs a Chapter Lead, you will play a key role in the Everyday Accounts Product & Portfolio squad. Reporting to the Everyday Banking Chapter Area Lead and partnering with the Product Owner you will coach and develop a team of product professionals ensuring they have the skills for both now and in the future. You will also support the squad by leading and owning initiatives from strategy development and ideation through to execution with other squad members.   • Lead, develop and coach a team of product professionals to ensure they have the key skills and capabilities to deliver on key business objectives
  • Partner with the Product Owners across the crew to enable you to grow and develop your team
  • Understand dynamics of the Everyday Accounts portfolio, including key drivers, trends and leading indicators, and ideate plans to adapt to changing conditions and opportunities
  • Develop, implement and embed strategies for driving sustainable growth of everyday transaction accounts
  • Play a leading role across the broader Everyday Banking team, fostering collaborative culture and ensuring all CommBank’s values are demonstrated at all times
  • Proactively identify opportunities to uplift the product managers across the domain in different capabilities
  • Have a deep understanding of the Everyday Banking customers, be across and pre-empt impact of macro, micro and product landscapes that pertain to everyday accounts

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Proven experience in leading and developing a team of product professionals
  • Experience managing banking products and P&L ownership
  • Proven experience with developing product strategies and roadmaps
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong commercial acumen, balanced by a desire to achieve optimal customer outcomes
  • Proven track record of strong performance delivery
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to build and leverage strong stakeholder relationships
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Finance or similar
