Join us to lead the TSN marketing team as a Senior Marketing Manager and help continue the innovation, development and implementation of our sports strategy across a suite of platforms and products.

As the Senior Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will report to the Director, Marketing and will be a key member of the Bell Media Marketing Leadership Team. The role will build a strategic marketing vision and lead the direction of integrated marketing campaigns for key products and sports properties on TSN and other Bell Media brands like CTV, oversee strategic media planning and work closely with Bell Media’s in-house team on creative development. This role will be instrumental in all aspects of the TSN brand including brand building, audience growth and direct to consumer subscriptions. As a leader, you will inspire, coach and manage a team of marketing professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute marketing strategies and initiatives driving subscriber acquisition for TSN’s direct to consumer digital products TSN and TSN+, linear TV viewership, brand awareness, consumer engagement, digital product use and market leadership.

  • Act as the lead for marketing campaign development and briefing with internal creative agency and media agency

  • Work closely with internal media planning and scheduling team to maximize opportunities within Bell Media owned and operated assets including TV, digital media, radio and OOH

  • Work with programming and distribution marketing teams to lead the creation/delivery of promotional/advertising materials secured through contractual broadcast relationships and paid corporate partnerships.

  • Colloborate with communications, audience development and editorial teams to maximize promotional opportunities through PR initiatives and organic social channels

  • Work closely with RDS marketing team to ensure directional and executional consistencies for national campaigns and adaptation into the Quebec market.

  • Present campaign strategy, plans and post mortem reports to senior leadership and other key stakeholders as needed

  • Work with the internal Bell Media insights teams to deliver research and learnings that will foster brand, digital audience and engagement growth across various TSN platforms.

  • Leverage data for key insights to better understand our customers and our competitive positioning

  • Build relationships with third party platforms and ad partners to follow best practices, industry trends and innovations to apply to campaign vision

  • Strategize with other senior marketing managers on the marketing team to maximize cross promotion opportunities across all Bell Media owned and operated brands

  • Build and manage budgets

  • Build a culture of inclusion and learning while leading a high-performing environment

Critical Qualifications

  • Strong sports fandom accompanied by a passion for sports marketing and fan engagement.

  • College/University degree or equivalent; Business Marketing, Advertising and/or Business Strategy. MBA preferred.

  • 5 yrs + experience in a Marketing role, with focus on brand, digital and acquisition marketing

  • Leadership, coaching and people management skills

  • Knowledge in media and sports industry trends, competition and customer buying habits

  • Proven experience developing both awareness and conversion based integrated marketing strategies across the consumer journey, including digital, traditional and out of home touch points

  • Understanding of product development lifecycles and processes

  • Experience with data and customer segmentation as the basis for discovering actionable insights

  • Ability to adapt to a demanding, rapidly changing work environment, set priorities and meet tight deadlines
