Senior Manager, Retail Marketing Operations (RMO)

The Senior Manager, Retail Marketing leads a regional RMO field team to develop and execute marketing strategy, communications, and initiatives for Lithia auto dealerships to drive quality traffic and earn customers for life. Primary regional partner and liaison between the regional RMO field team and Regional Presidents, Regional and Group Vice Presidents, and Platform and Multi-Store General Managers, as well as between the regional RMO field team and Lithia Home Office. Responsible for coaching a developing a high-performing team that earns market excellence in partnership with regional and store leaders.

Senior Manager, Retail Marketing Operations reports to a Senior Director, Retail Marketing Operations.

Compensation Range: $132,000 – $171,000 annually

Location: Texas, USA

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 3 – 6 employees
  • Set regional strategy, performance, and team goals and attain them through team direction and management of the regional RMO Lead
  • Provide guidance to the regional RMO team on building and executing marketing strategy, managing budgets, and evaluating vendor/campaign performance in partnership with store leaders in pursuit of AOP and spending efficiency
  • Partner with internal LAD Marketing team members and external agencies to create content and measure the results of the campaigns
  • Collaborate with other Senior Managers to ideate, prioritize, and execute business strategies
  • Conduct quarterly regional team training meetings
  • Assist RMO Director with National marketing bi-annual team training meetings
  • Recommend and spearhead regional store leader marketing training in partnership with Regional Presidents, Regional and Group Vice Presidents
  • Support and assist RMO team with all stores, including focus stores as assigned by Regional Presidents,
  • Regional and Group Vice Presidents, and Platform and Multi-Store General Managers
  • Champion alignment and integration of key company initiatives or strategies
  • Drive OEM approvability. Foster OEM relationships at the regional and national level
  • Serve as an expert in and a resource for internal marketing teams, regional leadership teams, and store leaders.
  • Communicate and educate in a professional manner that generates enthusiasm for each store’s marketing strategies and plans
  • Be a resource for internal marketing teams to provide feedback, guidance and recommendations on Lithia Marketing products, processes, or offerings
  • Recommend and coordinate Group General Manager marketing training as in partnership with GVP
  • Assist with national marketing bi-annual training meetings
  • Develop and led traffic generation and in-store traffic management ROI meetings with a heavy emphasis on Digital/Online Marketing and CRM/store process
  • Based on your home location and regional geography, overnight travel may be required.
