The Senior Field Integrated Marketing Manager (FIMM), focused on US, West & Mid-West and North-East region, leads field marketing strategies and plans leveraging and scaling global and regional go-to-market approaches and augmenting local activities to deliver delightful customer experiences that drive business outcomes (including conversion of marketing signals and pipeline).
The Senior FIMM leads the prospecting efforts for the region to enable account teams to leverage marketing signals and drive pipeline. Sample of the initiatives are skilling training sessions (tools) + help advancing/flagging existing opportunities (digital signals + intelligence) with success measured by the influenced pipeline tagged from these prospecting tactics.
The Senior FIMM will be known as an expert on modern marketing strategy and engines, using data and insights to ensure positioning and messaging is clear, distinctive, and differentiated by audience and educates our customers on how they can achieve more with Microsoft products. In this role, you will be an evangelist of marketing transformation, responsible for landing the cutting-edge marketing innovations being developed at Microsoft for your region. You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills advising Sales and Marketing leaders on marketing strategy. You will also work with Integrated Marketers globally and regionally, contributing to global learnings and optimization by leveraging and sharing the best global practices and providing feedback on learnings from your region to Corporate HQ. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home or onsite.

- Integrated Marketing Planning – You represent the voice of the field and play an active role in the planning cycle for each of the targeted Customer Solution Areas (CSAs) and prioritized industries focused on Enterprise Customers –to define the local marketing plan that leverages Global and regional strategy, execution frameworks and marketing programs and resources to drive business priorities and core marketing key performance indicators (e.g., Lead Gen, Reach, Marketing Engagement Index, Pipeline) via global, regional and local marketing engines (e.g., events, digital, social, email). Align and land marketing tactics to marketing objectives and relevant metrics. Collaborate with Corporate, Regional and local teams and stakeholders to align Marketing plans to core strategy, capabilities, and engines. Consolidate and share internal and external feedback about quality of plan.
- Connected Sales & Marketing – Interface with commercial executives to understanding of regional business imperatives and sales priorities for alignment and deployment of priority marketing programs and campaigns within each region.
- Enabling effective communication and activating the field: equip sellers with the right marketing programs, landing and amplifying key marketing activities to drive seller engagement and reporting on marketing impact in given executive reviews.
- Integrated Marketing Execution – Build and orchestrate the local plan and execution in your market aligned to global and regional Customer Solution Areas (CSAs) and Industry Marketing Plans, leveraging global and regional resources to maximize business outcomes. Lead the plan and execution of local marketing initiatives and programs to complement global and regional plans with a focus on the conversion of marketing signals for the creation and acceleration of pipeline. You ensure all plans adhere to critical company policies such as privacy, accessibility, compliance and brand.
- Sales Enablement to Accelerate and Influence Pipeline – lead the prospecting efforts for the region to enable account teams to leverage marketing signals and drive pipeline. Sample of the initiatives are skilling training sessions (tools) + help advancing/flagging existing opportunities (digital signals + intelligence) with success measured by the influenced pipeline tagged from these prospecting tactics.
- Data-Driven Decision Making and Performance Management – You use data-driven insights leveraging available global and regional tools and dashboards to optimize marketing strategy and delivery. You lead the local and regional Rhythm of the Business (ROBs) by creating and delivering regular business reviews to address gaps and opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years enterprise commercial marketing leadership experience in the technology industry in all of the following field marketing pillars: integrated marketing planning and execution, marketing interface with commercial executives, field sales communications, sales enablement to accelerate and influence pipeline, rhythm of the business (ROBs)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 7+ years integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated track record of closing net-new customers/business, strategic execution, and the ability to work through a dynamic network.
- Matrix management skills including the ability to partner with multiple team members and resources internally (Product Teams, Communications, Corporate teams Commercial) and externally (channel partners, agencies, industry associations).
- Ability to effectively influence others in multiple groups and collaborate to achieve specific goals.
Field Integrated Marketing IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 – $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 – $213,200 per year.
