Senior Digital Product Owner – Retail

We are looking for a Senior Digital Product Owner to join a world-renowned retail brand as they prepare to completely overhaul the website and eCommerce strategy.

Reporting into the Director of Online, this role will be responsible for management of their outsourced development agency, analysing and delivering on a range of Digital road map initiatives. The role requires commercial acumen, customer knowledge and focus and a highly technical skill set that enable them to drive the product into a new sphere.

The Role & Responsibilities

• Defining digital solutions to customer problems by analysing market opportunities and imparting insights to wider business on best practice
• Collaboration with designers, UX and data insight teams to develop initiatives for the digital road map that will prioritise customer needs and add business value
• Aligning cross functionally with business areas as a technology evangelist to make sure internal stakeholders are informed on progress of development and that their requirements are met.

The Candidate

• Directive and clear communication and ability to manage large scale projects with numerous stakeholders
• Experience and knowledge of analytical tools, approaches, and methodologies for research for business strategy cases
• Strong knowledge of all digital touchpoints – mobile, website, eCommerce, and email automation
• A background working for a large global retailer is highly advantageous for this role
• Experience using Dynamics 365 and Magento is highly advantageous
• Experience of full product life cycle – integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritisation, and pre/post-launch execution and evaluation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to story-tell the value of product road map to colleagues and customers alike
