As a Senior Content Designer, you’ll drive the words and content solutions that boost acquisition, engagement, upsell, and cross-sell across multiple channels. We’re a fun, diverse, and collaborative group working at the intersection of marketing and product, partnering closely with both to craft seamless, user-focused experiences. Our work spans email communications and in-product messaging, ensuring users receive the right message, in the right place, at the right time. We’re an impact-driven team that thrives on aligning strategic goals with thoughtful, data-informed design solutions that deliver real value to both users and the business.ObjectivesDrive business through content – Craft high-impact, conversion-focused content solutions by combining marketing best practices, compelling storytelling, and user-centered principles. Ensure every copy decision enhances the overall user experience while aligning with business goals and maximizing performance.Conceptualize & own projects – Drive projects by taking them through all creative stages, including ideation, planning, writing, execution, and QA. Collaborate cross-functionally to define goals, develop creative and practical solutions, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.Optimize for performance – Create multiple content variants for A/B/C testing to evaluate effectiveness. Analyze performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and conversion rates (CVR), and rapidly iterate based on data insights to continuously improve results.Champion brand principles – Apply foundational brand management principles to content, ensuring not only consistency of voice across products and touchpoints, but also deep alignment with each brand’s distinct values, tone, and purpose, enhancing brand recognition and expression.Foster Cross-Functional Partnerships – Collaborate closely with Content Designers, Product, Brand, Legal, and Customer Success teams to align objectives and ensure seamless execution against shared goals and timelines.Fuel strategy with insight – Turn behavioral data, user research, and competitive intel into actionable growth frameworks and informed strategic deliverablesBridge growth insight with customer impact – Use growth tactics, product knowledge, and UX understanding to shape customer communications that are timely, relevant, and effectively accelerate business growth.Adopt and leverage AI tools – Champion early adoption of AI technologies to enhance team workflows, improve creative processes, elevate overall efficiency, and continually exploring new tools to evolve how work gets done.Core Competencies5+ years of experience in content design, crafting high-conversion marketing copy that blends UX principles, storytelling, and sales strategies to drive engagement and growth across channels – or equivalent experience in Copywriting or a similar fieldExtensive knowledge of lifecycle flows (onboarding, engagement, upsell, win-back, etc) and the metrics behind them, as well as deep understanding of information hierarchyProficiency in FigmaCreative campaign thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects and tailor advertising and experimentation strategies across customer communication channelsExperienced in consumer psychology and performance levers that nudge behaviorComfortable presenting ideas and defending decisions with clarity and dataOpen-mindedness and a willingness to receive and incorporate feedback into workSkilled collaborator who thrives in rapid, agile environmentA positive attitude, with an emphasis on maintaining a fun, collaborative team environmentDemonstrated curiosity and adaptability, with a willingness to embrace new tools, workflows, and evolving business priorities in a dynamic environmentProficiency working within established design systems: confident in maintaining consistency while thoughtfully challenging and contributing to their evolutionExtra Competencies (nice to have)Familiarity with AI and automation toolsStrong command of UX and design principlesExperience designing with localization, accessibility, and inclusivity in mindAbility to mentor, guide, or support junior writers in their professional growthBackground in fintech, cybersecurity, or other regulated/complex technology sectorsReady to craft the words that move customers — and the business?
