Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs, this role provides a unique opportunity for someone with around 5 years’ experience to develop their communications skills in a dynamic and fast paced team environment, in a high growth industry.With a focus on external and partner communications, this role requires strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills, working closely with the communications team and marketing department, as well as other business functions to deliver engaging internal and external communications programs.The role is a 6 month contract with potential for extension, offering a big opportunity for professional development, driving various streams of work, with the support of senior team members at a local and global level, in a company that is leading the way in on-demand delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the implementation of the Menulog CSR Strategy, working closely the Head of Corporate Affairs and the global Just Eat Takeaway teamManage the PR calendar, generate content ideas and work closely with relevant agencies to amplify Menulog’s message effectivelyPlan and manage distribution of all internal and external communications, including copywriting and or editing and liaison with other departments including Operations and Human ResourcesWork closely with Menulog employee committees on internal communications and employee eventsManage the distribution of Menulog’s daily media monitoring to internal stakeholders, as well as local and global reporting on communications activity at regular intervalsEstablish relationships with broader business departments to help inform both internal and partner communication (restaurants and couriers)Execute Menulog’s industry partnerships, including content development and stakeholder relationsManage the Menulog LinkedIn channels, working closely with all business departments and senior leadersProvide support on Menulogs CSR partnerships, driving internal engagement and external amplification where relevantWork with the communications team to update, share and amplify Menulog key messaging with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basisProvide administrative support to the Communications Team as required, for example, loading media releases to the Menulog Media Centre, managing inbounds to the Press Inbox, providing budget support etc.Can you deliver…Degree in communications or relevant field of studyAround 3-5 years experience in communications or relevant industryStrong writing skills and an ability to create content across a variety of internal and external channelsStrong stakeholder management and relationship building skillsExcellent organisational skills and an ability to manage high volumes of work and multiple projects with competing deadlinesSelf-starter that takes proactive action, without requiring specific directionStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to absorb and utilise a wide range of informationBe flexible, agile and thrive with changeAbility to identify key risks and opportunities for the business and action proactively accordinglyWhy work at Just Eat Takeaway.com?Just Eat Takeaway.com is a leading global online food delivery marketplace headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on the Amsterdam and London Stock Exchange.We provide the platform and tools to help independent partners move online and reach a significantly broader customer base – to generate increased orders and grow their businesses.
