If you’re driven by purpose and excited to be part of something bigger, we’d love to have you on the journey.About the role:The Senior Investor Relations Analyst plays a critical role in delivering clear, insightful communications to the investment community by providing robust analysis and strategic input.This role involves gathering and synthesising internal and external data to support investor materials, including financial results, strategy updates, ESG disclosures, and roadshows.Over time, this role will take on direct engagement with external investment professionals, helping to shape market perception of Origin Energy.Roles & Responsibilities

• Collating, analysing, and modelling investor and analyst expectations of the company and its peers across the Australasian and global energy industry.
• Conducting financial analysis on Origin’s forecast results, comparing them to market expectations and peers, with a commercial interpretation of analytical results.
• Assembling and researching market forecasts for key industry drivers and market trends, summarising results for executive management review.
• Managing annual, half-yearly, quarterly, and monthly reporting processes (internal and external)
• Preparing necessary marketing materials associated with communicating Origin’s business and strategy – including financial results, conferences, and investor briefings.
• Managing key supplier relationships for service providers, ensuring Origin is receiving maximum benefit, including reviewing contracts and proposing amendments and/or alternatives that align with IR objectives
• Assisting in the development of the Company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) market engagement program, including reporting on sustainability performance metrics and targets, ESG market briefings, and responding to benchmark ESG surveys and inbound inquiries.
• Conducting detailed analysis of investor activity and feedback (domestic and international) to assist in investor engagement and targeting programs.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate IR policies and corporate governance standards, and researching best practices in these areas.

Skills & Requirements

• A degree in accounting, finance, engineering, communications, geoscience, marketing, or a related discipline.
• Excellent financial skills, including the interpretation and explanation of financial statements and modelling.
• Ability to initiate and conduct research across the energy industry and synthesise links between financial, operational, and strategic initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills across oral, written, and presentation mediums.
• Ability to effectively manage and deliver projects to designated specifications and timeframes.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
