Ansell is looking for a Senior Analyst, eCommerce & Digital Marketing to join our team in Iselin, NJ!

Specific responsibilities include:

As we continue to expand our omnichannel presence, including digital and ecommerce platforms, we are seeking a talented Senior Analyst of eCommerce & Digital Marketing to join our team. This role plays a pivotal role in driving the data insight generation efforts to improve customer experience, drive revenue growth and profitability on Ansell’s digital platforms.

  • Strong understanding of marketplace businesses, ecommerce platform & data metrics (leading and lagging sales and marketing indicators), to drive business goals
  • CPG retail background
  • Fluency in essential marketplace tools such as Amazon Seller central, Stackline/Similarweb, SEO optimization tools, Reputation and price tracking tools
  • Well versed in Google Analytics (GA4), Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms and a digital experience intelligence platform (such as Fullstory or Mixpanel or Amplitude)

What would this role look like in detail?

  • Optimize our digital and ecommerce strategies across various channels, including marketplaces, Ansell webstore, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Omnichannel Insights: Independently provide data-driven insights that meet the diverse needs of stakeholders, including regional marketing teams and ecommerce business owners across all channels, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience.
  • Customer Insights: Understand customer segments, order metrics, marketing, and visitor engagement metrics to provide insights that influence decision-making across digital, marketing, and sales functions.
  • Marketing Impact Analysis: Evaluate the impact of marketing activations, including email campaigns and paid media efforts, on customer acquisition and retention for our webstore and physical stores, using data from platforms like Google Analytics, Fullstory, Marketo, Salesforce, and others.
  • Omnichannel Optimization: Analyze customer engagement across all ecommerce & marketing channels to inform feature development and improvements, aiming to enhance the Average Order Value (AOV), Conversion Rate, and overall customer experience in an omnichannel context.
  • Performance Metrics: Define relevant metrics to assess business performance across all channels, conduct in-depth analyses, and create dashboards and reports for presentation to key business stakeholders, including commercial, marketing, and product leaders.
  • Omnichannel Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data within internal Ansell systems and external vendor platforms to track sales across all channels, identifying key drivers of performance. Conduct competitor benchmarking and category analyses to uncover omnichannel growth opportunities.
  • Tech Stack Proficiency: Rapidly gain expertise in our tech stack and data ecosystem, which includes:
  • Web Analytics: Mastery of Google Analytics for in-depth website performance analysis.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilize Salesforce for customer data management and analysis.
  • Marketing Automation: Leverage Marketo for campaign performance measurement.
  • User Behavior Tracking: Utilize Fullstory for comprehensive user journey analysis.
  • Market Intelligence: Utilize Stackline & other tools and internal Ansell Sales transaction and other data available in the Data Lake for market insights and sales performance tracking
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present ecommerce performance insights and key metrics to various stakeholders, including regional and executive leadership teams, ensuring alignment with our omnichannel strategy.
  • Campaign Analysis: Collaborate with Digital, Marketing Automation, and Salesforce teams to develop a process and template for analyzing campaign performance across paid digital media and email campaigns, considering both online and in-store impacts. Propose omnichannel product recommendations to enhance conversion.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy across all channels, perform data validation, and address any data integrity issues promptly.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as IT, digital, marketing, and data analytics, as well as external partners in the ecommerce data and analytics space, to enhance measurement and tracking capabilities for our omnichannel operations.
  • Process Improvement: Lead cross-functional efforts across ecommerce, IT, and external vendor teams to enhance the data capture and quality processes for all channels within our omnichannel strategy.
  • Automation: Drive the automation of insights generation across different data platforms in collaboration with the IT teams, ensuring that the insights are applied consistently across all channels.
  • Vendor Management: Manage and lead communication with external partners, including marketing agencies and data vendors, to support our omnichannel initiatives.

What will you bring to Ansell?

  • Bachelor’s degree required in any quantitative or technical discipline such as Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science
  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in digital and ecommerce analytics, with a focus on optimizing omnichannel strategies, preferably in a similar role
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset 
  • Demonstrated ability in learning new reporting or BI tools such as PowerBI
  • Fluency in programming languages such as SQL (Python – is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce applications including Lightning commerce platform
