Role and Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Product Marketing role will report to the Head of Digital Health North America and is responsible for marketing for Samsung Health B2B and B2C services, developing go-to-market plans, and executing campaigns and other initiatives. As a vital cross-functional team member, your impact will be felt across the business, driving increased awareness, user growth, engagement, and revenue. This position focuses on supporting the Digital Health hardware and software marketing, executing the GTM plan, and achieving business goals.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the marketing strategy and year-round plan for Samsung Health Services by creating and implementing product marketing plans
  • Partner closely with the other US Digital Health team leaders and members to understand the annual needs and develop a marketing budget.
  • Help to set up new marketing capabilities, including Insights, Brand Strategy for Health services
  • Designing communication strategies to reach target markets by developing campaigns, online content, partnership programs, and other marketing initiatives on and off-platform to achieve our business goals
  • Partner closely with Creative, Product, UX, BD/Partnership, and other marketing PR teams in the US and Korea HQ to ensure our go-to-market planning and execution are seamlessly integrated
  • Create and implement methods to track campaign performance across channels and placements towards goals. Summarize learnings after each campaign and develop best practices.
  • Studying Samsung Health’s products and locating key features that will attract customers to the Samsung Health platform with a focus on driving demand and sales
  • Serve as custodian for marketing tools

Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent training required
  • 8+ years of experience in brand/digital marketing roles, with at least 2+ years leading marketing for a consumer app/service in digital health strongly preferred
  • Understanding of product marketing, marketing, and promotional strategy
  • Experience working with data analysts to measure, analyze, and report the impact of marketing initiatives, including brand lift, user/subscriber acquisition, and engagement
  • Experience partnering closely with Product, UX, and Research teams to understand the needs of a target segment and develop product and marketing plans to meet those needs
  • Excellent communicator, able to clearly articulate strategic plans, provide timely updates to execs, and ensure alignment with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience producing highly effective presentations, developing content to communicate with internal and external customers and partners
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete tasks and meet deadlines

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions

  • Work is generally performed in an office environment.
  • This position will be performed in an office setting. The role will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored, and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions.
