Home Office / Virtual / Remote (Low Travel)

Our client does have offices in Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada).

Our client is a global and award-winning technology systems integrator that for more than 20
years has designed and implemented Customer Experience (CX), Digital Commerce and Marketing Automation solutions. We are currently searching for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant.

  • You will be working with clients across various industries to help design, configure, implement, test, and deploy Marketing Cloud solutions that meet the customer’s business requirements.
  • You will be required to provide all services and deliverables as it pertains to the below areas of responsibilities to ensure the successful adoption and delivery of the solution.
The ideal candidate should have (but not limited to) the following qualities and skills:

  • Minimum 2 full-scale Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations which include integrations to more than one data source.
  • Experience with Account Engagement (Pardot) is primary and experience with
    Engagement (Exact Target) is a nice-to-have.
    • Core understanding and functional knowledge of how data is imported into the Marketing Cloud platform (B2B, B2C).
    • Good understanding of SOAP/REST APIs with proven working knowledge of the Marketing Cloud APIs, and how they can be used to support the integration scenarios with external systems.
    • High-level understanding of capabilities provided by using AMPScript and Server-Side JS.
    • Knowledge and experience with installing/configuring the Marketing Cloud connector to connect SFCRM to SFMC.
    • Experience with Pardot Business Units a plus.
The ideal candidate should have (but not limited to) the following qualities and skills (Continued):

  • Experience with or have knowledge of Apex development is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience with Loyalty Management a bonus.
  • Good understanding of data privacy rules and regulations in the industry.
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of email deliverability best practices for Marketing

Cloud Email Studio.

  • Knowledgeable and proficient in web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
  • Self-starter and process-oriented.
  • Motivated and willingness to constantly grow and learn.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to working in remote teams.
Areas of responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of project delivery documents (blueprint, functional design, training, etc.,).
  • Maintain and update relevant project management documents (e.g., project plans, risks and open issues log, status reports).
  • Participate in project meetings such as status updates, daily standups, sprint planning, etc.,
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings with project team members and key stakeholders to help drive delivery requirements, discussions, and clarifications.
  • Help prepare and conduct demos or presentations to the customer.
  • Guide, assist, and support the customer with data migration activities.
  • Responsible for the onboarding, configuration and Implementation of the Marketing Cloud solution in alignment with the blueprint and design documents.
  • Support unit, integration, and UAT testing; assist in the documentation/analysis/resolution of defects.
  • Responsible for providing guidance and knowledge transfer or training to customers to help inspire confidence with using the application and ensure platform adoption.
  • Provide project cutover, go-live, and post go-live support.

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant will report to the MarTech Architect Lead.

This is a full-time remote position (Any City in US or Canada is a possibility).

Located in Vancouver, BC would be ideal. Located in Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX also a plus.

Requirements:

  • University degree in computer sciences/engineering or similar (or equivalent certification).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Minimum Certifications: Salesforce Pardot Specialist, Marketing Cloud ADMIN
