Is this the role for you?

The UK Sales and Technical Team consists of 6 people – Sales Director, Sales & Commercial Manager, Sales & Distribution Manager, Sales & Exhibitor Marketing Manager, Content & Technical Operations Manager, and a Sales Executive. This team positions, sells, distributes and implements the Theatrical (Cinema) Release of all Paramount Pictures Film releases in the UK. They work closely with UK Exhibition, Logistics and Technical Companies to ensure that Paramount Product gets the best trailer placements, the most commercially viable release date, and the best and most suitable cinema release with an aim to maximising both the overall Gross Box Office for the film, and Paramount’s margin. They nurture the film product through its Theatrical release and provide reporting and analysis as required. The Technical Team also support our Irish office.

To implement PPUK sales strategy with UK Exhibition (selected chains and independent cinemas) and provide administrative and organisational support to the Sales Director and the Sales Team

What will you be doing?

• Build, nurture & sustain working relationships and proactively secure bookings with UK Exhibitors including selected circuits and independents, including conducting holdover negotiations
• Ensure commercial optimisation of all Paramount releases with allocated exhibitors
• Provide comprehensive admin support to Sales Director and Sales Team
• Contribute to Sales statistical analysis and Market intelligence info
• Book and organise Meetings, Conference Calls and Exhibitor Screenings
• Work daily on software systems including: MACCS (bookings), MIDAS (senior management reporting), SAP & BASWARE (purchase orders), Tableau (data analytics)
• Compile research on film release dates, UK Marketplace and competitive titles
• Assist Sales & Commercial Manager with new client set up process
• Liaise with Revenue Team to ensure consistent and accurate Sales channels & process to minimise exposure to Bad debt and ensure payment terms are honoured

What are we looking for?

Essential

• Experience at managing multiple tasks and high volumes of data.
• Committed, habitual cinemagoer with good film knowledge and commercial judgement
• Good numerical skills
• Positive, helpful approach
• PC literate, with intermediate Excel and Word skills and advanced Outlook and PowerPoint skills.
• Organised and detailed, with the ability to co-ordinate, prioritise and manage time appropriately
• Builds effective relationships with internal and external contacts

Desirable

• SAP, IBOE or MACCS experience
• Film, Creative, Logistics or Exhibitor/Distributor experience
• An understanding of the UK Distribution & Exhibition landscape
• Previous Sales experience
