Due to a recent promotion and growth, Lifespace Communities would like to introduce the opportunity to become a Sales Counselor at Beacon Hill, a CCRC community located in Lombard, IL.

The sales counselor will be responsible for generating leads, lead management, sales presentations, closing sales, and for meeting monthly sales expectations. The sales associate will work in close collaboration with other sales team members as a key member of a motivated sales team.

A Few Other Details About The Role

• Maintain and/or improve upon the occupancy level and revenue production of the community in accordance with the marketing and business plans to include completing sales calls and closing sales.
• Achieve individual sales goals and targets (call-outs, appointments, sales, closings, etc.)
• Develop and maintain relationships with and generate leads through residents, family, and professional referral sources.
• Work with other sales team members and management to plan, coordinate, and implement monthly prospect and/or referral source activities and events.
• Collaborate with other sales team members to develop and execute marketing plans to achieve community occupancy goals.
• Maintain prospect interest and commitments through continuous follow-up.
• Follow organizational procedures in lead tracking and maintain current records of all leads and prospects.

And Here’s What You Need To Apply

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field highly preferred; associate’s degree with equivalent years’ experience will be considered.
• Five years sales experience. Sales experience within a senior living environment preferred.
• Proven history of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Knowledge of sales and marketing to include principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling services required. Knowledge and understanding of the senior market and various senior living products preferred.
• Proven experience to include marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales systems. Consultative selling skills highly preferred.
• Exhibit and possess the drive and perseverance and be committed to going “the extra mile” to achieve sales and marketing goals.
• Thorough understanding of retirement housing and referral sources preferred..
