Sales Assistant – Belfast International Airport

Contract Type – Permanent

Contracted Hours: Ranging from 8 hours per week to 30 hours per week

Sales Assistant working hours will be offered between 4am and 10pm Monday to Sunday. Usual shifts being:

4.00am – 1.00pm

1.00pm – 10.00pm

Please note – We can offer more flexible shift patterns and are willing to discuss if progressed to the interview stage

• Salary:
  • 18 – 20 £7.19
  • 21 – 22 £9.66
  • 23+ £10.00

Candidates must be aged 18 or above

Airport Requirements:

• 5 years continuous references (professional/educational/personal gap reference) to gain an Airside Airport Security Pass
• Access NI
• Photographic ID I.E passport or UK Driving Licence

Sales Assistant introduction:

To provide exceptional customer service, proactively dealing with all customers, making the most of every sales opportunity and acting as an ambassador delivering the WHSmith brand to all our customers.

Role of a Sales Assistant:

• Deliver a friendly service, smiling, greeting and making eye contact with every customer you come into contact with
• Working on tills accurately and efficiently to provide a positive customer experience.
• Carry out stock replenishment, ensuring all areas of the store remain tidy
• Working as an active member of the team, supporting colleagues in all tasks
• Meeting high standards of display and visual merchandising to ensure the store is well presented. Accurately following planograms
