Sales and Marketing Manager

The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for sales and marketing for the Company’s retirement home in Owen Sound, Ontario.

The Sales and Marketing Manager will develop leads, conduct tours, complete the sales process and ensure a smooth transition for new residents. Additionally, this position will develop marketing including social media, partnerships and community outreach. This will include promoting the residence to community-based groups offering support services to seniors as well as to seniors groups within the local community. As an outgoing self-starter with excellent people skills the Manager works well both independently and as part of a dynamic team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have 2 years marketing/public relations experience preferably in the seniors housing industry

Must have previous experience using social media to achieve sales targets A post secondary degree or diploma in marketing , public relations or equivalent is an asset

Must have excellent presentation skills

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to adjust personal schedule to accommodate tours and open houses on weekends and evenings

Must have computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word) and internet and email applications

Must be able to multi-task on several projects at once with excellent time management skills

Must have a valid driver’s licence Must present a polished and presentable image to the public at all times and be able to represent/promote the residence at outside business meetings and community events.
