Here, everyone’s role matters and your individuality is celebrated.The RoleAs the Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing revenue management analytic functions to produce reporting that support and evaluates the hotel’s business strategies.You will provide guidance in developing long-term strategies and short-term tactics to increase the hotel’s overall revenue, maximise profit and improve performance across all areas of Rooms, F&B, Events and other revenue streamsYou will be responsible for yielding business trends and maximising revenue for the hotel.Prepare weekly, monthly room occupancy and average rate forecast through the use of business intelligence and revenue management systemsProvide tactical consultation on effective revenue generating processing through inventory usage, rate control management, pricing and distributionConduct weekly revenue meetings, presenting the upcoming revenue tactics and challengesEnsure the inventory distribution through all channels is in line with Hyatt’s distribution strategyEnsure daily pricing strategies are optimised and to review / assist in the re-design of the pricing strategies if necessaryAssist the Sales and Marketing & Revenue team to maximise revenue and yield businessConduct training with Front Office employees (as required) to ensure correct procedures are in place at check in and check out, ensuring the availability and validity of data for analysisAbout YouA minimum of three years’ experience in or aligned to Revenue Management or Marketing Analyst role in a hotel.Tertiary qualifications related field would be highly desirableSound knowledge of Revenue Management and hotel operations of similar standardsPossess strong organizational and analytical skills with a strategic mindset and keen attention to detail, along with effective problem-solving abilities; serve as a core member of the hotel SMR team with a commitment to taking ownership of outcomes within the team.Administrative and interpersonal skills are essentialAdvanced written and verbal presentation skills at times to a board / ownershipFull working rights in AustraliaWhat We OfferComplimentary and Discounted accommodation across Hyatt Hotels world-wideDiscounted accommodation for associates as well as your friends and familyWellbeing Leave and Paid Parental LeaveComplimentary Headspace membership for Hyatt associatesComplimentary Employee Assistance Program available for colleagues & immediate family10% discount with NIB Health insuranceComplimentary barista coffee dailyInvestment in your career development through training, opportunities and mentorship
