Job description: Position: Retail ManagerPosition Type: Full-TimeSalary: $ 76,600 to $78,000 plus superannuation per annumLocation: Brisbane QLD 4000Our client is seeking a Retail Manager to join their team located inAs a Retail Manager you will oversee the daily operations of the Chocolate Moments retail store and cafe, ensuring excellence in customer service, stock management, and sales performance. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating store activities to achieve profitability and uphold the brand’s premium image. The Retail Manager will lead and develop the team to deliver an exceptional chocolate experience for every customer while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage day-to-day retail store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Implement and monitor policies and procedures to maintain a safe, hygienic, and customer-friendly store environment.
• Oversee stock control processes, including ordering, receiving, storage, and display of chocolate products to maintain freshness and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
• Drive sales performance by implementing strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Monitor product pricing, promotions, and merchandising in line with company objectives.
• Resolve customer complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction levels
• Recruit, train, and supervise retail staff, ensuring they deliver excellent service and uphold the Chocolate Moments brand.
• Develop staff rosters and allocate duties effectively to meet operational needs.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to foster engagement and continuous improvement
• Monitor and report on financial performance, including sales, expenses, and budget control.
• Prepare operational reports for senior management, including sales analysis and business improvement recommendations.
• Coordinate in-store marketing initiatives and visual merchandising to attract and engage customers.
• Promote new products and seasonal offerings through effective point-of-sale displays and local marketing activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or higher qualification in Business or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a retail supervisory or management role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of stock control, merchandising, and financial management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and WHS requirements.

Expected salary: $76600 – 78000 per year
