Remote Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a Senior Accountant, reporting to Clevertech’s Director of Finance.
• Must have experience in the professional services industry

Day-to-day accounting responsibilities

• Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses
• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
• Preparing financial statements
• Oversee staff who handle Accounts Receivable & Account Payable
• Assisting with annual audit preparations.
• Payroll and reporting requirements
• State filings

Requirements

• 7+ years of previous experience in a similar role
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or business
• Advanced Google Spreadsheet and Excel skills
• Exemplary attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

Location

The position will be 100% remote in EST Only USA-based Candidates will be considered at this stage.
