What you will be doing
- Assess and onboard new mortgage brokers, re-engage inactive partners, and establish new relationships to support growth in target markets.
- Provide ongoing education and support to brokers, ensuring alignment with the bank’s credit appetite, product knowledge, and responsible banking values.
- Monitor loan portfolio performance, ensuring new funding aligns with pricing delegations and budget expectations.
- Maintain strong relationships with aggregator partners and support broker professional development through regular contact, PD Days, and tailored business-building strategies.
- Deliver exceptional broker experience by meeting day-to-day needs and offering solutions aligned with values and market strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams across Distribution, Retail Banking, Corporate Services, and Marketing to support broker operations and communications.
- Meet performance objectives set by the National Manager – Partnerships and operate within delegated authorities and finance procedures.
What you will bring
- Extensive experience in relationship management and business development within an ADI, with strong knowledge of lending and third-party channels.
- Proven ability to build and influence senior-level partnerships, supported by excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Strategic and analytical mindset, with a sound understanding of retail distribution and customer-owned banking models.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, discretion, and judgement in all interactions.
- Strong customer service orientation and alignment with the bank’s values and purpose.
- Adaptable, innovative, and open to change, with a proactive approach to personal development.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience with financial industry systems and processes.
- Commitment to Bank Australia’s purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.
