POSITION: Regional Marketing Specialist

REPORTS TO: Regional Marketing Manager

About the Job: 

We are looking for a regional marketing specialist with a passion for boating and a desire to activate the Freedom Boat Club. The regional marketing specialist will work closely with the regional brand leadership team, as well as the global marketing team, to activate key marketing strategies and support the growth acceleration of the Freedom Boat Club brand. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Activate national brand campaigns in the region. 
  • Update master brand calendar for brand activations taking place in-region. 
  • Event planning and performance tracking 
  • Support financial tracking and reconciliation for marketing activations. 
  • Write member and prospect communications relevant to the region.
  • Provide weekly marketing updates to key stakeholders. 
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and help reinforce brand standards at corporate clubs.
  • Support cross-enterprise projects on behalf of Freedom Boat Club as requested. 
  • Support key campaign activation for brand campaigns, which may include cross-functional and cross divisional communications. 
  • Create content for social media, in accordance with brand standards, to be shared on regional social media pages. 
  • Support the planning and execution of local photo and videos shoots. 
  • Assist with the development of marketing collateral that is impactful and adheres to brand guidelines. 
  • Partner with the local advertising partners and/or Brunswick Centers of Excellence as needed to support local activations. 
  • Track and report regional marketing KPIs. 
  • Support ad-hoc marketing initiatives and assist teammates as projects arise.
  • Other duties as requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business 
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience 
  • Growth mindset with a desire to grow within the organization. 
  • Email marketing experience 
  • CRM or Website Experience preferred. 
  • Ability to work cross functionally. 
  • Strong writing and editing capabilities. 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Customer-focused mind-set 
  • Willingness and confidence to interact with multiple stakeholder audiences including senior management, franchisees, and boat club members. 
  • Experience coordinating events and multiple stakeholders. 
  • Ability to be hands-on, and work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, deadline driven environment. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, last minute requests and quick turnaround with a positive attitude. 
  • Experience in both agency and corporate environments is a plus. 
  • Willingness to travel, up to 30%, likely concentrated during peak months. 
  • Ability to work a non-traditional work schedule that may include event support during an evening or weekend. 
  • Experience working in a matrix environment is a plus.
