Regional Marketing Senior Manager, Central and Eastern Europe, Frankfurt
The Senior Manager, Central and Eastern Europe Regional Marketing plays a pivotal role managing all aspects of marketing, with a deep understanding of building integrated marketing communication plans including reputation, demand generation, customer engagement and enablement programs, in addition to leading and developing a world class regional marketing team.
This critical role is a key member of the AVEVA leadership team working closely and collaboratively with colleagues across the global marketing and sales organizations to maximize marketing performance. This role has direct responsibility and accountability for market-level marketing strategy, execution and performance and is the key interface and partner for the marketing organization working with senior sales leadership. They must have the ability to manage live and virtual events, press or analyst coverage, brand recognition, social media marketing, digital and email lead generation activities, channel/partner marketing, and the creation of localized or translated content.
The role is also responsible for operational tasks such as market-level reporting, sales enablement, budget management, and third-party partnerships and relationships.
Responsibilities
- Determine the marketing strategy for the market, design and implement an integrated reputation, demand, engagement, and enablement plan to support the business go-to-market strategies.
- Lead a team of marketing resources including recruiting, retaining, and developing the team.
- Work to establish a common campaign framework aligned to the target market / sales segmentation model for the marketing function that reflects the needs and interests of the local market; including localization of global campaigns.
- Interlock with market sales leaders to ensure ongoing agreement on priorities, adjusting to accommodate changing market conditions and emerging opportunities; attend regular sales deal reviews, pipeline reviews, and quarterly business reviews to understand segmentation and prioritization.
- Work with sales, lead development representatives (LDRs), and channel operations to define an end-to-end revenue management process and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Create a culture of segmentation and orchestration with the goal of improving customer experience.
- Forecast, measure, analyse, and report on the impact of reputation, demand and engagement marketing activities in terms of KPIs aligned to go-to-market strategies.
- Evaluate, select, and manage vendors that contribute to local field marketing programs.
- Ensure all field marketing programs comply with local data privacy and other regulations.
- Manage, adhere to and optimize the field marketing budget

- Proven record of putting customer experience at the forefront of campaign and program planning
- Successful record of enabling and partnering with sales to achieve revenue goals
- Experience in relevant markets creating and implementing successful marketing programs that engage new prospects, accounts, and customers; leveraging a range of tactics and technologies
- Record of achieving success metrics
- Leadership and initiative to drive business objectives
- Exceptional planning, project, and agency management skills
- Ability to understand the impact of decisions on other areas of the business
- Strong listening, information gathering, cultural awareness, and empathy skills for uncovering and defining deliverables, needs, and outcomes

- Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats to various audiences
- Driven by staying current and experimenting with marketing and marketing technology

- Understanding of the newest marketing tactics and how to strategically employ them in an overall marketing planning approach
- Deep understanding of what signals are important to a customer experience and buying process
- Target segmentation analysis, budgeting, and building business cases for new customer acquisition and customer expansion
- Understanding of relevant market and how to support sales
- Deep understanding of the B2B sales cycle and how to identify opportunities to maximize revenue growth
- Ability to clearly articulate a market-specific value proposition
- A high level of skill in building and leading high-performing teams
