We are seeking two Prospective Postgraduate Student Support Officers to join Macquarie University’s Future Students team and play a key role in shaping the postgraduate student experience.As a Prospective Postgraduate Student Support Officer, you’ll be at the forefront of student engagement—providing tailored advice, nurturing leads, and delivering exceptional service to prospective postgraduate students. Your work will directly contribute to the University’s student recruitment and conversion goals, helping individuals take the next step in their academic journey.What will you do?Engage with prospective students via multiple communication channels including phone, email, SMS and at recruitment eventsBuild strong, trust-based relationships with prospective postgraduate students, providing individual guidance, conducting one-on-one consultations, applying a consultative approach to address objections and align solutions with individual goals.Support the Future Students team in delivering targeted initiatives such as events, outbound calling, and conversion campaigns to drive applications and enrolments.Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. Faculties, Admissions, Scholarships) to enhance product knowledge and resolve complex enquiries and enhance prospective student experience.Analyse engagement data to generate insights and improve conversion strategies.Supervise and support casual staff within the Contact Centre.This role is in the portfolio of the Future Students which coordinates the student recruitment strategy of the University and supports Faculties and other portfolios in their student recruitment activities, events, collaboration, and engagement.If you’re ready to take on a rewarding role that contributes to the growth of Macquarie University’s student community, we’d love to hear from you!About youYou bring experience in student recruitment, business development, or engagement, and you’re skilled at building meaningful relationships and guiding prospective students through complex decisions.
