Product Marketing Manager, Optum Insight Marketing – Remote in EST

The Product Marketing Manager is focused on achieving desired segment-specific marketing goals and benchmarks by executing marketing plans. This role is responsible for implementing go-to-market strategies for assigned products, used by both payers and providers, to include supporting new product launches, developing core content in coordination with subject matter experts and using that content and messaging to deliver effective campaigns and programs that build our reputation/thought leadership, generate demand, and enable our sales and business development teams. 

If you are located in the Eastern Time Zone, you will have the flexibility to work from home and in the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Research: Support competitive and industry research and understand market landscape of products they support
  • Messaging: Contribute to the development of differentiated product messaging that is grounded in research
  • Content: Project manage and contribute to the creation of high-impact, brand-aligned content across all necessary mediums and marketing tactics execution
  • Events: Oversee the regional events program in collaboration with the corporate events team. Support our presence at industry events
  • Sales enablement: Develop and maintain sales materials, including sales decks, sell sheets and client case studies, as well as support sales training
  • Product Launches: Follow the “Accelerate” process and support product launches by project managing the go-to-market plans
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with all team members. Coordinate with integrated/segment marketing and marketing shared services

Required Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years marketing experience, preferably in healthcare technology
  • Proficient working with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple initiatives at the same time
  • Experience and understanding in marketing content development and program execution

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience functioning across matrixed teams without formal reporting relationships
  • Experience driving ideas from concept to completion through superior organizational, project management and team leadership skills
  • Experience supporting sophisticated sales organizations and fast-paced technology marketing teams
  • Experience with using Salesforce.com
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to be a self-starter who can work in an unstructured work environment and resourceful individual who drives to solve problems

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $67,800 to $133,100 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
