Your mission is to help us reimagine the way we provide insights and pricing strategy, while supporting the day-to-day activities of the broader team.What the role is all aboutHelp develop multi-year strategic pricing plans that help achieve our financial targetsProvide recommendations & analysis on short-term tactical Product & Pricing initiatives to support the immediate business needsMentor Analysts / Senior Analysts and drive a high-performance cultureWork closely with the Product team to identify opportunities and risks associated with various mid-long-term product initiatives, and proactively develop optimisation or mitigation strategiesDevelop simple to understand but detailed commercial models to understand the likely business impacts associated with initiatives including customer impacts and financial impactsManipulate & analyse complex data from a variety of sources using a variety of tools & techniquesCreate ELT and Board level quality pricing strategy and commercial performance presentationsCollaborate with the Analytics, Product & Sales teams to understand our customer’s businesses, consumer’s needs and the marketplace; and use this knowledge in developing price points, pricing strategy & supporting go to marketWork closely with the Commercial Finance team to understand financial impacts to understand financial trends and impacts of pricing analysis on performanceMaintain a working knowledge of other business products & pricing architecture to effectively identify & consider impacts of initiatives across the groupCoach and build commercial acumen within the business, increasing the effectiveness of pricing & product initiatives through clear & simple articulation of price mechanicsIdentify and keep abreast of digital product & pricing trends, identify implications and opportunities for REABuild strong relationships across the business including Economics Team, journalists, data science and marketing teamWho we’re looking forStrong commercial experience in a product/pricing roleStrong skills in Excel & SQLExperience in digital performance and listings models7+ years relevant industry experienceProven track record in developing and delivering commercial business outcomesFirst class communication – written, verbal and presenting skillsConfident in both formal and informal settings with the ability to relate to individuals across all levelSomeone who is proactive, curious, a relationship builder and has strong influencing skillsCross functional understanding and ability to collaborate in a complex, fast paced businessThe REA experienceThe physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we’ll never stop caring about.
