We are looking for a curious and passionate Salesforce Developer (potentially a Senior Salesforce Developer) to take part in strengthening our team and competencies. Salesforce is a backbone in our digital strategy, and in this newly established role you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to Salesforce in Chr. Hansen.

Your new team and workplace

The Salesforce Team works with various clouds such as Sales, Service, Experience, B2B Marketing and B2B Commerce. You will join a small and dedicated team, who interacts across the entire organization as Salesforce is an important platform with +1,300 internal users, spread across global business departments, and more than 2,000 external users. The Salesforce Team has in co-operation with other departments accomplished several great achievements over the last four years including the launch of B2B Commerce, Customer Support Experience in more than 10 languages and Salesforce Customer Identity across all our digital services.

The Salesforce Team is a part of Global IT which includes 160 specialists and managers across the world. All working with the same IT strategy to meet the business requirements of the strategic ambitions set forth in the business strategy. As our new Salesforce Developer, you will have a direct impact on supporting the Chr. Hansen strategy.

What will your role look like?

As our Salesforce Developer, you will have a great opportunity to use and enhance your competencies. In this role, you will be working with improvement and development across our multiple clouds and provide declarative as well as coded solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will be working closely with the business and the Salesforce Team to build Salesforce solutions which brings the best values to the business.

You will also provide technical competence, consultation, and sparring to both the team and the business while ensuring the stability and performance of the platform by fixing defects and making necessary adjustments. You will follow procedures for technical documentation and also manage, coordinate, and carry out test activities and deployments.

Furthermore, because this is a newly established role, you will have a unique opportunity to help shape your own job and work with the various clouds.

Who are we looking for?

We are first and foremost looking for someone passionate about Salesforce and one, who already has experience in developing and preparing a CRM platform. You enjoy working with improvements, both when it comes to upgrading the already existing features on the platform and when implementing new features for end users. You choose to explore different solution options as well as discussing with the team before pointing to a final solution. Further, you can work independently and thrive with responsibility within your area of expertise.

Your professionalism means that you are good at providing high-quality technical advice based on best practice on the Salesforce platform and in software development. This also includes an eager to share and guide others with your high technical skills.

Our new Salesforce Developer can also check most of these boxes:

• A deep understanding of the Salesforce platform – both on a technical and functional level.
• 2+ years of experience implementing solutions in Salesforce on Sales, Service or Experience Cloud.
• Certified Platform Developer I, or other relevant Salesforce certification with several relevant Trailhead badges.
• Have designed and implemented business solutions focused on cloud-based business applications.
• Strong understanding of relational databases.
• Experience and understanding of agile software development methodologies (We use Azure DevOps).
• Application development experience, Object Oriented programming, and related technologies (Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, JavaScript,etc.).
• Experience with CD/CI (Gearset as a tool).
