What you’ll be doing:

• Managing day-to-day purchasing of products and services in line with internal needs and company standards

• Optimizing inventory, monitoring market trends, identifying gaps in the market and seeking out new products and supplier opportunities

• Leading negotiations with Czech and international suppliers to secure the best prices, delivery terms, and conditions
• Monitoring product expiration dates and taking timely action to prevent stock issues
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date procurement documentation (orders, invoices, contracts)
• Coordinating with compliance, sales, strategic purchasing, logistics, marketing, and finance teams for seamless operations
• Tracking supplier performance and suggesting improvements for better efficiency and reliability
• Performing cost analysis and contributing to strategic purchasing decisions
• Supporting ongoing process improvements and participating in cross-functional projects

What you bring:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement
• Knowledge of the veterinary field is an advantage
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• A business-driven mindset with a proactive approach — you’re someone who spots opportunities and turns them into real results
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Advanced MS Excel and experience with CRM or ERP systems
• Solid written English (minimum B2 level), especially for working in English-language systems and supplier communication
• Team player with strong communication and organizational skills
