You’ll lead medical launch preparation, foster close cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the effective communication and implementation of strategic priorities. Beyond strategy, you’ll champion best practice sharing, support affiliates individually, and help strengthen medical capabilities across the region — all to advance our ambition to make a difference for patients.Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading strategic development and launches: Drive the creation and implementation of the overall Alzheimer’s Disease medical strategy and launch plans for Region EUCAN, working in close partnership with Market Access and Commercial teams at global, regional, and local levels.
• Building and nurturing a strong community: Develop robust cross-functional networks to establish a cohesive Alzheimer’s Disease medical community across EUCAN, ensuring alignment and knowledge exchange.
• Enhancing medical excellence: Set clear therapeutic area priorities and develop initiatives to elevate medical affairs standards, while providing expert guidance as the subject matter expert for all relevant products.
• Representing the region and engaging stakeholders: Act as Region EUCAN’s voice in global and international medical fora and build meaningful relationships with internal and external medical and scientific stakeholders.
• Upholding the highest standards: Ensure all activities are conducted in line with the NN Way, maintaining excellence in Quality, Compliance, Business Ethics, and Pharmacovigilance.

This position reports to the Head of Cardiovascular & Emerging Therapies, Medical & Marketing.QualificationsFor this role, we’re looking for someone with a strategic mindset who can clearly communicate regional priorities in line with business objectives, and who empowers colleagues through coaching and mentoring. The ideal candidate excels at negotiating with multiple stakeholders, can navigate complex matrix organizations, and effectively balance regional needs with initiatives from other parts of the business (e.g., Global or International Operations).In addition, you ideally bring:

• A medical degree (M.D.), preferably with clinical neurology experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in Medical Affairs, including involvement in launching new products.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with prior experience in a similar role within a multinational pharmaceutical company.
• Sharp strategic and analytical abilities, a solid understanding of the market, and a collaborative, cross-functional leadership style.
• Excellent presentation skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to thrive in complex environments with strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility, a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude, and an innovative approach to new challenges.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
