As a Marketing Specialist, India SAARC, you will manage local initiatives for India SAARC countries which includes executing marketing strategies, managing events, overseeing digital marketing, and coordinating academy and training programs for the region.

You will need to have strong skills in managing projects from start to finish independently, ensuring execution is completed accurately, within budget, and on time. You must also have a dynamic personality and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and providing solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with the India SAARC team to drive multi-channel, multi-faceted marketing campaigns, lead generation programs and tactics at the channels and end users community to generate the desired results assign to the sales & marketing objectives. You will report directly to the Marketing Manager, South Asia Pacific (SAP) and may assist in larger regional projects.

Some travel may be required, up to 20% of the time, for internal meetings, external events and training programs. This position is based in Bangalore, India.

What you will do

In addition to executing the strategy, you will manage:

PARTNER MARKETING: CHANNEL AND DISTRIBUTORS

  • Work with our channel partner organization to develop a program for going to market through distributors and partners.
  • Ensure a balance between co-marketing activities with partners and end customers.
  • Tailor our partner communications strategy to the region using our newsletters, onboarding content, local website content, and local content marketing.

MARKETING PLANNING & EXECUTION which involves vendor and budget management.

  • Project management with overarching marketing planning and ownership of specific areas of responsibility
  • Plan and execute the marketing Calendar in alignment with the Business goals & KPIs
  • Cost tracking and budget responsibility, across multiple campaigns/projects
  • Ownership of vendor relationship ensures efficiency between vendors and other Axis stakeholders.

EVENTS (ONLINE & OFFLINE)

  • Ensure that the Axis brand experience and solution messaging are represented at key industry events and at Axis’ own organic events, such as customer conferences.
  • Plan the annual calendar of internal, channel, and partner events.

PUBLIC RELATIONS, CASE STUDIES

  • Work with the PR agency on driving a program that boosts our brand profile in key markets, including media releases, to press interviews, press conferences to byline articles.
  • Drive customer references and case studies from customer buy-in to development, production, and promotion.

DEMAND GENERATION

  • Work with Marketing team to roll out relevant segment-specific campaigns in your region.
  • Provide feedback and insights about segments in your region to assist with overall campaign creation planning.

AXIS EXPERIENCE CENTRE (AEC)

  • Responsible for AEC marketing program and review AEC usage and provide best practices to enhance the experience.
  • Use AEC as touchpoint to generate and influence leads from distributors, partners, technology integration partners, end customers, and press.

Who you are

  • Degree in marketing or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in a marketing role (ideally in B2b Marketing)
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, marketing automation tools, CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua) is critical.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, knowledge of other regional languages is a plus.
  • Candidates with multi-faceted experience in different marketing sub-fields will have a strong advantage
  • Strong organizational skills, able to handle multiple priorities in different marketing sub-fields
  • Good project leader – persuasive, able to influence and drive other team members
  • Flexible team player, open to changes and able and willing to communicate and build rapport with other members in the team to achieve results
  • Confident & enthusiastic individual who is able to exercise initiative and thrive in an open, transparent work culture with minimal supervision
  • Must be open-minded and willing to learn
  • Understanding of common technology subjects is highly preferred
