Position Description:
This position will work alongside our Marketing Director, assisting in developing the marketing strategy while leading and executing the creation of content to support the strategy. The marketing specialist will review the data gathered to guide strategic decisions using the latest marketing automation tools. Your work will support us in growing residential and commercial sales, strengthening our company brand in the marketplace.
Essential Job Duties:
Create graphic designs, promotional materials, and other collateral as needed
Collaborate with team members and other departments to conceptualize and produce relevant content
Create and maintain content for websites (via in-house CMS, training provided)
Craft landing pages and forms to support lead generation and nurture efforts
Investigate the performance of the Company’s marketing campaigns and strategies through evaluating key performance metrics
Create goals and objectives to approach customers through appropriate marketing channels
Measure, report, and optimize paid marketing, social media initiatives, inbound, and other marketing based on defined KPIs for success
Review analytics of the website, social media, and various digital marketing channels
Support inbound and outbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in specific areas such as optimization and content
Assist with marketing plan execution and SEO strategy
Write and publish blogs and content for various digital outlets
Help with media buying and budget tracking
Manage social media accounts and community management
Research and develop how to market to audiences and creating new branding ideas
Cooperate with company management by performing any other duties as assigned

- Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, comparable field or equivalent work experience.
5+ years’ work experience in multimedia design, Proficient in Adobe CS (InDesign, Photoshop Illustrator)
3+ years of experience in digital marketing
Excellent content writing skills
Digital Marketing/Marketing specialist Jack or Jill of all trades
Experience with current social media and managing social media posts
Proficient in Google Analytics and knowledge in Google Ad Words and SEO fundamentals
Experience with PPC and paid media
Experience with Google Sheets
Experience with Google My Business (Google Maps)
Experience analyzing marketing campaigns
Experience with website-builder platforms and content management systems (i.e., Squarespace, WIX)
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, with extreme organizational skills, commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Ability to stay on task with projects that start and stop over time.
A will-do attitude – steps up to figure out what it takes to get the job done.
Calm under pressure – able to work effectively under the pressure of deadlines
Ability to work both independently (steer yourself) and as a team member, a self-starter
Must be vaccinated for COVID-19, become vaccinated, or qualify for an exemptionPreferred Requirements:
Previous experience with Slack (IM) and Basecamp (project mgmt.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable
Proficiency in MAC OS
Google Analytics certification preferred
Basic HTML and CSS Coding
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentCommunicates through telephone conversations, face-to-face interactions, texts and email
The ability to lift and carry up to 10lbs
Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching
Read printed materials and a computer screen
