Job Description

The Brand & Special Projects Marketing Specialist will help develop go-to-market strategies and execute key brand initiatives across all channels for Canada Goose’s brand partnerships, guest designers and collaborations. This exciting and fast-moving role relies on a keen understanding and genuine passion for culture and trends across multiple pillars (music, art, fashion, film, etc.) This position plays a fundamental role in the growth of both brand and special projects, ensuring our work is fresh, authentic, brave, yet true to core Canada Goose brand values and identity. The Brand & Special Projects Specialist will collaborate with and integrate external partners into campaign processes, while working cross-functionally with several internal teams including Design & Merchandising, Creative, Community and Commercial teams.


The Role:

  • Execute and deliver on brand marketing projects, special projects, and collab partnership plans, reflective of brand strategy, including value proposition and integration options to be brought to market.
  • Develop go-to-market sales plans, writing and delivering project briefs, brand campaign project management – on time and within budget constraints to ensure department and company goals are met.
  • Support the Brand Manager in the development of brand marketing plans and campaigns
  • Manage collaboration partnerships and special project programs by collaborating with partners and internal creative production for full funnel creative presentations
  • Liaise with sample production and planning teams to procure photoshoot samples ahead of each campaign
  • Maintain and manage timelines and budgets
  • Provide post-project reporting and analysis on program successes and challenges as well as campaign ROI
  • Ensure alignment across all platforms including .com and mobile, connecting the in-store and online brand stories to maintain the connection across platforms
  • Manage Collabs & Special Projects go-to-market Calendar
  • Proactively contribute creative marketing ideas for brand initiatives and special projects
  • Analyze trends, business results and the competitive environment; identify consumer insights and translate insights into action


About You:

  • University degree in business or marketing-related field is a plus
  • 3-4 years of Marketing experience
  • Brand Partnerships experience considered a strong asset
  • Proven record of success in traditional and non-traditional marketing with measurable results
  • Experience in the entertainment or apparel industry is a plus
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Epic organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once without breaking a sweat
  • Be the source! Know the hype hunter and luxury consumer and understand their behaviors
  • Have finger on the pulse of global trends in both luxury & fast fashion and have a strong passion for culture, sneaker and streetwear culture, popular culture, and women’s culture
  • Think social first – Deep understanding of the Tik Tok/Instagram generation
