Right now, we have an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Sector Lead to join the Adult & Feminine Care (AFC) team on a 12 month maternity cover contract. Reporting into the Personal Care Marketing Director, you will be a key member of Marketing leadership team where you will make a strong contribution in developing a high performing Marketing team as well as the culture across the Marketing organisation. You will lead the portfolio within the Australian business, with responsibility of the strategic direction, developing and delivering brand plans and delivering the short-term results for the portfolio. Managing a team of 7 you will lead the team and the broader cross-functional teams to deliver results.

In this role, you will be responsible for;

  • Optimise and refine the Australian marketing strategy for the AFC sector. Drive clarity on brand fundamentals and category growth model across both consumer and B2B channels
  • Lead and build talent of the AFC marketing teams (3 direct reports, total team size 7)
  • Develop and execute annual and 3-year strategic plans for AFC to deliver the growth vision for this dynamic sector
  • Work with the team to deliver compelling briefs anchored in consumer insight, partner and challenge agencies to deliver strong, compelling media and communication campaigns
  • Manage and optimise advertising & promotions budget, shopper marketing and retailer presentations
  • Utilise marketing levers that impact P&L performance to deliver balanced results; short-term and long-term

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience at the level of a Head of Marketing, Marketing Director/Associate Marketing Director or Senior Marketing Manager
  • Heightened leadership and development skills, with a strength in coaching
  • Advanced understanding of commercial marketing principals
  • Exceptional ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Strong Commercial and Analytical skills
  • Knowledge of the Grocery or Pharmacy industries within the ANZ market
  • Experience driving end to end NPD/renovation process
