At Bazaarvoice, one of our core values is “Innovation over Imitation.” We are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to join our company as Marketing Operations Director.
Reporting to the Vice President, Revenue Operations, you will spearhead Marketing operations strategy and execution, with responsibility for connecting Marketing processes, data, and systems to boost alignment, and gain efficiencies in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Client (Customer) Success.
You will bring best practices, with a customer-first mindset, to team up across “RevOps” to provide the highest level of service and partnership with the global Marketing organization.
From systems and process, to analytics and campaign effectiveness measurement, you have a passion for uncovering insights and making recommendations.
This individual is a student of their craft, who stays up to date on the latest market trends and approaches, from multi-touch attribution to opportunities to leverage AI. Supporting stories and ideas with data, the Marketing Operations Director brings experience with analytics and systems to support the team in making smarter decisions.
The ideal candidate is also transparent and adaptable, with a sharp focus on developing teams while taking time to learn and work together to tackle opportunities for change and growth in a fast-moving environment.

Primary Duties of the Role:

  • Drive global strategy and implementation of consistent marketing processes, analytics, reporting and technology to support and optimize demand generation
  • Align plans and execution across the marketing ecosystem, including Demand Generation, IT, Sales, and Sales Operations
  • Oversee strategy, execution, and operation of lead flow processes, governance, and programs between Marketo and Salesforce.com, including lead scoring and development SLAs to drive funnel efficiency
  • Lead the transition from CRM and spreadsheet reporting to BI platform with visualizations to analyze and measure marketing performance across web, search, social, email, events, and more
  • Spearhead the modernization to multi-touch attribution from sourced/influenced
  • Work directly with CMO and Marketing leadership to find solutions to challenges as they arise, in planned and ad-hoc discovery, from budgeting and planning to modelling and analysis
  • Serve as business owner to leverage and evolve Marketing Automation, Campaign Management, Lead Routing, Data Analysis, and other key apps tools in the MarTech stack
  • Partner with Sales Operations to ensure the lead to revenue framework between inbound/outbound leads, sales qualification, and opportunity management is seamless, accountable, and measurable
  • Provide strategic and tactical oversight of MarTech strategy and the interactions with other integrated systems such as predictive scoring technologies, attribution modelling, predictive content, external lead sources and more
  • Own and coordinate quarterly pipeline council to identify trends and opportunities that drive pipeline generation to the Seller level
  • Maintain data within marketing systems focused on process management, lead and contact enrichment, data hygiene, data governance, and quality

Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:

  • 3+ years leading Marketing Operations teams and team members, and the ability to lead through influence across the organization
  • 6+ years in roles of increasing responsibility within B2B Marketing Operations, with demonstrated results in process improvement, data analysis, technology implementation, management, and optimization
  • 4+ years in B2B SaaS, with a proven track record of building global lead processes for high-performing demand generation programs
  • 3+ years analytics experience as a hands-on builder, and as a leader, in reporting and dashboard environments, from pre-MQL to pipeline (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Proven track record of uncovering insights and turning them into and action
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to “dive deep” as needed to improve performance and outcomes
